Annual activities include Easter Eggstravaganza, Boo Bash, Thanksgiving Friendship,
Cookies with Santa, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Midsummer at the
Meadows, which is the highlight event of the year. Midsummer at the
Meadows includes a Taste of Miami Township, free concerts by bands of national
celebrity, activities for children and a grand finale fireworks show.
The Recreation department sponsors many other exciting events including
an open recreation night, youth summer camps, safety day, Kindermusik,
self- defense courses, teen dances, preschool programs.
